Abstract

RATIONALE: Mast cells play a central role in allergic reactions by releasing chemical mediators and producing cytokines. Toll like receptors (TLRs), which play a major role in innate immune systems, has been reported to express on mast cells and induced IFN-α production to human mast cells. In the present study, we examined the effect of TLR-3 stimulation on FcεRI-mediated cytokine production by cultured human mast cells (CHMCs).
