Abstract

The hot isostatic press method was used to prepare Tl2Ba2Ca2Cu3O10 bulk samples. Samples with a high mass density were obtained. It was shown that in such prepared samples most superconducting grains are compressed closely together, thus improving the weak links between grains and resulting in a higher transport critical current density.
