Abstract

The Department of Education’s Title IX Resource Guide recommends that institutions provide a webpage with information about Title IX reporting options, yet much of the information on these sites can leave students confused about where to turn for help. This article describes a content analysis of gender-based violence resource information on 75 elite college and university websites. It outlines common themes and provides administrators with suggestions for more effective ways to communicate this content to student populations.
