Abstract
The reaction of organotitanium species, prepared by the desulfurizative titanation of thioacetals using (C 5 H 5 ) 2 Ti[P(OEt) 3 ] 2 , with alkynes gives conjugated dienes in good yields with high stereoselectivity.
