Abstract

In article number 2000688, Lujun Huang, Lin Geng, and co-workers comprehensively review the smart multiscale architecture and superior performance of titanium matrix composites. Multiscale discontinuously reinforced titanium matrix composites inspire coordinated strengthening mechanisms at different scales. This design method gives rise to lightweight materials with high strength, good ductility, and high-temperature durability, which have great potential in aerospace applications.
