Abstract

In this work, Structural, Optical and Photocatalytic property of Titanium doped Zinc oxide nanoparticles have been investigated in which Titanium doped Zinc Oxide nanoparticles were fabricated by microwave-assisted solvothermal method. The synthesized nanoparticles were characterized for Structural properties by X-ray Diffraction (XRD), Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscope (FESEM), optical properties by UV–Visible Spectroscopy, Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy, Photoluminescence (PL) and photocatalytic property is tested by degrading the Malachite Green dye under visible light. The influence of titanium on ZnO has made a change in ZnO particle size, Bandgap and its degradation efficiency upon light irradiation.
