Abstract

During titanium anodization under constant voltage conditions, the anodic current density was found to increase with increasing applied voltage and with electrolyte temperature. The thickness of the titanium oxide grown was observed to depend on the applied voltage and the pH of the electrolyte. The number of cracks at the oxide surface increased with increasing oxide thickness.
