Abstract

In this paper, the efficiency of dye-sensitized solar cell (DSSC) was improved through the development of a new TiO2/graphene nanocomposite as a photoanode electrode and MWCNT/PEDOT:PSS nanocomposite as a counter electrode. Prepared products were characterized by field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM), atomic force microscopy (AFM), X-ray powder diffraction (XRD), diffuse reflectance spectroscopy (DRS), BET-BJH and Raman spectroscopy. TiO2/graphene and MWCNT/PEDOT:PSS-based solar cell demonstrated an open circuit voltage of 0.2 V and the fill factor 0.44 and 0.34 conversion efficiency under the one sunlight irradiation.
