Abstract

A group of patients whose ocular findings satisfied the diagnostic criteria of low-tension glaucoma were treated with timolol maleate drops, 0. 25% or 0. 5%, alone or in conjunction with other medical agents. A useful reduction of intra-ocular pressure was obtained in many but not all patients, but seldom to a level approaching the episcleral venous pressure.
