Abstract

All patients presenting with acute coronary syndrome (ACS) who undergo coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) in New Zealand are captured in the nationwide All NZ Acute Coronary Syndrome Quality Improvement (ANZACS-QI) registry. This study aimed to describe the timing of CABG in NZ ACS patients referred for CABG in-hospital between 2014 and 2019. The hospital length of stay (LOS), door to angiography (ANGIO), ANGIO to CABG, and CABG to discharge/death time were summarised overall and by key patient characteristics. The proportion of patients meeting proposed door to ANGIO and ANGIO to CABG targets was also evaluated.
