Abstract
The excited-state absorption spectrum and deactivation mechanisms of an exciplex state formed between N-isopropylcarbazole (NIPC) and dimethylterephthalate (DMT) in doped PMMA films are observed by applying laser photolysis techniques. The results are discussed in comparison to measurements of a similar system in a non-polar solution.
