Abstract
retire in June of 1983 I would receive $599 a month. Hardly a living wage, but it gave me ideas. As a freelance writer, I have begun to make a small but regular income from articles, stories, and educational projects. Perhaps, I considered, with the retirement money and my royalties I might wind up earning as much as I now clear after taxes. Then, too, with more time I could write more and boost the income.
