Abstract

Central nervous system (CNS) tuberculoma is a rare serious form of tuberculosis. AIDS and the other immunosuppressive causes are the major risk factors for CNS tuberculomas. We present a case of multiple CNS tuberculomas in an almost healthy patient with no history of symptoms of immunosuppression or signs of focal deficits. A high index of suspicion is needed to diagnose CNS tuberculomas, especially with the rising incidence of HIV in Egypt.
