Abstract
Time reversal violation sources in fundamental theories induce interactions between nucleons which can be revealed by looking at the presence of permanent electric dipole moments of light nuclei. In this work we derive the time reversal violation potential up to the N2LO in the chiral effective field theory. Using this potential we compute the electric dipole moments of \({}^2\text {H}\) and \({}^3\text {H}\). Our results, combined with experimental data, can be used to test various possible sources of time reversal violation.
