Abstract

An effective time resource scheduling is very important to improve resource utilization ratio and optimize performance in phased array radar. A mathematical model of time scheduling algorithm for multiple target tracking in jamming is proposed. The algorithm assigns sampling time associated to cost function, considering the desired accuracy, manoeuvring character, the threat of air attack target and electronic interfere. The optimal sampling time is calculated using Ant Colony Optimization method successfully. Combined with Interactive Multiple Models and Joint Probabilistic Data Association, the target's position is estimated for beam pointing. Simulation results show that the performance of multiple target tracking in jamming is improved. (4 pages)
