Abstract
AbstractSimultaneous time‐ and energy‐resolved two‐photon photoemission with nanometer resolution is demonstrated for the first time. We monitor the energy dependence of the decay dynamics of electron excitations in individual silver particles, which were deposited from a gas aggregation cluster source onto a silicon substrate. We show furthermore that the near‐field enhancement due to plasmon‐resonant excitation is an efficient means to address individual nanometer‐sized particles using photoemission electron microscopy.
