Abstract
Time-of-flight neutron spectroscopy is described using relatively short flight paths to nuclear explosives. Neutron fluxes have been determined from 235U and 232U fission with solid state detectors in the direct current mode. A demonstration gamma-ray production cross section experiment for 241Am has yielded data over the neutron energy range 0.3–6.0 MeV.
