Abstract
Maryanne Crowther is a cardiology nurse practitioner at Saint Joseph's Regional Medical Center, Paterson, N.J. A paradigm shift incorporating process change for both facility and personnel is necessary to minimize the extent of ST-elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) and improve patient outcomes.
