Abstract
Salvage extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) after open heart surgery remains controversial. Prior studies demonstrate poor short and long-term outcomes. We sought to assess the effect of extended cardiopulmonary bypass, cross-clamp, and other operative times with postcardiotomy ECMO outcomes and survival.
