Abstract
The phase inversion in time is determined for two t-butyl radicals 18–30 μs after a photolysis flash lasting about 20 ns. The phase-inverted radicals can easily be detected 27–37 μs after the flash and are still visible for the following 15–25 μs. The decay curves last for 10–12 μs and have the directions predicted by the ESR spectra.
