Abstract

The global navigation satellite system (GNSS) receivers are high susceptible to continuous wave (CW) interference. The CW suppression capability of GNSS can be further enhanced by using the adaptive infinite impulse response (IIR) notch filter. However the IIR notch filter will take in time delay (TD) error when it calculates the pseudo-range in GNSS receiver. A method to compensate the TD error based on the analysis of the character of the IIR notch filters is described in this paper. The performance of the method is analyzed and simulated. And the results show that the method can efficiently eliminate the influence of the filter in pseudo-range calculation processing.
