Abstract
Nonlocal inlet and outlet transparent boundary conditions (TBCs) based on a linear model of the Euler equations outside the computational domain are studied. The conditions are tested for both stationary and nonstationary flow problems about an airfoil in the numerical wind tunnel. Comparison is made with characteristic-based boundary conditions (CBCFs)
