Abstract

The field of Tourette’s disorder (TD) has seen a number of clinically significant developments in recent years. These include new knowledge related to tic phenomenology and management, updated management guidelines, novel insights regarding predictors of tic symptom evolution after first onset, increasing interest in cannabinoids, and the recent pervasiveness of functional tic-like behaviors. The goal of this session is to review these recent developments and discuss their clinical implications.
