Abstract

Bu calismada ticari yeme Mannan oligosakkarit (MOS) ve Vitamin B12 ilavesiyle Sazan (Cyprinus carpio L. 1758) ve Sabut (Tor grypus H. 1843) yavru baliklari 90 gun sureyle beslenmistir. Baliklar 4 farkli gruba ayrilmistir (Kontrol; A grubu MOS; B Grubu Vitamin B12; C Grubu MOS+Vitamin B12 karisimi). Farkli oranlarda MOS ve Vitamin B12 ilaveli yemlerle beslemenin Sazan (Cyprinus carpio) ve Sabut (Tor grypus) baliklarinin canli agirlik ve toplam boy olarak buyumesi, kondisyon faktoru, protein etkinlik orani, yem degerlendirme ve yasama orani, bagirsak ve karaciger histolojik degerlendirme ve kan parametreleri uzerine etkileri arastirilmistir. Baslangic agirlik ortalamalari 1,11±0,05g olan Sazan baliginda (Cyprinus carpio) canli agirlikca en iyi buyume MOS ve Vitamin B12 birlikte kullanilan C grupta (4,51±0,13g) olmustur. Ilk agirlik ortalamalari 0,95±0,03g olan Sabut baliginda (Tor grypus) ise en iyi buyume Vitamin B12 ile beslenen B grubunda (4,15±0,16g) olmustur. Baslangic boy ortalamalari 4,04±0,04cm olan Sazan baliginda (Cyprinus carpio) boyca en iyi buyume MOS ile beslenen A grubunda (6,68±0,08cm) iken, ilk boy ortalamalari 4,10±0,05cm olan Sabut baliginda (Tor grypus) ise Vitamin B12 ile beslenen B grubunda (7,71±0,08cm) olmustur. Histolojik incelemede karaciger hucrelerinde herhangi bir patolojik bozukluk gorulmemistir. MOS kullanilan tum gruplarda bagirsaktaki villuslerin uzunluk ve kalinliklarinda bariz bir artis gozlenirken MOS icermeyen diger gruplarda bu organa ait herhangi bir degisiklik dikkati cekmemistir. Kan parametreleri acisindan gruplar arasinda onemli bir fark olmadigi (p>0,05) elde edilmistir. Abstract In this study, effects of varying levels of Vitamin B12 and mannan oligosaccharide (MOS) on growth performance, live weight gain, fish size, survival rate, feed conversion ratio, condition factor, protein efficiency ratio, blood biochemical parameters, and liver and intestinal organ histology were investigated for 90 days in Carp (Cyprinus carpio L. 1758) and Shabbout (Tor grypus H. 1843) fed a commercial diet supplemented with Vitamin B12 and Mannan oligosaccharide (MOS). Fish were separated into four groups. Three of the groups were designated as treatment groups (The Group A; MOS, The Group B; Vitamin B12, The Group C; MOS combined with Vitamin B12) and one as untreated control group. The highest live weight gain in carp (Cyprinus carpio) was observed in the group C (4,51±0,13 g) whose initial weight average was 1,11±0,05 g and who were fed MOS and Vitamin B12 together. The highest live weight gain in Shabbout (Tor grypus) was observed in the group B (4,15±0,16 g) whose initial weight average was 0,95±0,03 g and who where fed Vitamin B12. The highest length gain in Carp (Cyprinus carpio) was observed in the group A (6,68±0,08 cm) whose initial length average was 4,04±0,04 cm and who were fed MOS, whereas the highest length gain in Shabbout (Tor grypus) was observed in the group B (7,71±0,08 cm) whose initial length average was 4,10±0,05 cm and who were fed Vitamin B12. No pathological defects in liver were obvious by histological examination. An obvious increase in length and thickness of villus were observed in the groups treated with MOS, but no histological alterations in liver were observed in non-MOS-treated groups. There were no significant differences among the four groups in terms of blood parameters (p>0,05).
