Abstract

In this article the author proposes to lay out the common ground from which we can develop our anthropological objectives, whilst having in mind that human beings are all rational but at the same time different. The article does not wish to present an ethics of the world but situate itself in the rational level of ethics. After presenting the current situation and looking at some of the new ethical models and social disparity it will then scientifically evaluate the situation, presenting the common ground and finishes by looking to the future with optimism and hope for mankind. The author shows conclusively whilst culture and environment can be different, reason is a faculty common to all. Grace is God»s gift poured out on all humanity, the language of grace can only be understood from the religious dimension, a dimension which reason cannot reject. A modern day ethic must consider both these dimensions.
