Abstract

Low-energy (1.5–10 meV) charge dynamics of the magnetoresistive manganites La0.7Ca0.3MnO3−δ (δ∼0 and ∼0.04) thin films have been studied by using terahertz time-domain spectroscopy. We directly obtained complex optical spectra in the ferromagnetic metallic phase and analyzed by a simple Drude model. On the basis of the present results, low-energy charge dynamics are briefly discussed.
