Abstract

The concept of equal and unequal 1 to 8 T-junction power dividers mounted on a Rogers RO3003 laminate are presented. These THz dividers were designed and simulated with the time-domain based on the FIT solver at the CST MWS simulator, while the validation was with the Ansys HFSS simulator based on the FEM solver. The simulation results obtained from both solvers were in fair agreement, supporting the proposed THz dividers' design. These dividers can be used for designing high-gain microstrip array antennas beyond 5G or 6G at the THz band.
