Abstract

In the letter we compute and compare the throughput efficiencies of three continuous ARQ strategies under Markov error models. The three strategies are the classic go-back-N, the Sastry modification, and the Moeneclaey and Bruneel scheme. Results show that Sastry's modification is outperformed by either the classic go-back-N scheme or the Moeneclaey and Bruneel scheme.
