Abstract

Proliferation signal inhibitors (PSIs) are often introduced after heart transplant (HT) in patients with renal dysfunction or cardiac allograft vasculopathy (CAV). Limited literature exists potentially linking PSIs to venous thromboembolism (VTE). We sought to determine the impact of PSI on development of VTE in a large population of HT recipients.
