Abstract

The occurrence of thrombophlebitis in a 9-year-old girl two weeks after the beginningof methysergide therapy for migraine is reported. The child recovered completely following discontinuance of the drug, but phlebitis recurred when methysergide was restarted. No other predisposing cause of phlebitis was known to exist in the child.
