Abstract
Occasional cases of quinine-induced thrombocytopenia have been reported in the dental literature. A case of quinine-induced thrombocytopenia, seen first in a dental surgery office, is reported, and the procedure leading to a definitive demonstration of the role of quinine in the induction of thrombocytopenia is described.
