Abstract

This work aims to develop the Three-Wheeled Autonomous E-Car which is used for all kinds of persons. This car consists of three different modes of operations namely Manual, Autonomous and Eyeless mode. The Arduino Due board is used as a microcontroller in this work. In Manual mode, the vehicle is driven by a normal person. In an Autonomous mode, the vehicle senses the road conditions and follows the instructions given by the microcontroller and reaches its designation successfully. In Eyeless mode, the vehicle works as same as an Autonomous mode, in addition to that the refreshable braille display is used for the visually challenged person to obtain the information displayed on the vehicle screen. The rotational seat is also installed, which is specially designed for the physically challenged person. The seat will rotate automatically based upon the position of the door opened. Other than this, a smart driving license system is installed, which would enhance road safety and vehicle security.
