Abstract
This paper presents the implementation of three-leg voltage source inverter fed a brushless dc motor. The open-loop speed direct torque control is employed for this motor. The experimental results show that the capability of this system can reduce the spike and the ripple on the voltage, current, stator flux and electromechanical torque lower than the conventional speed controller which control by feeding the voltage vector from the hall-effect sensors.
