Abstract

Three-dimensional (3D) reconstruction of medical images is one of the critical technology in the field of medical visualization. It is very important in the current clinical application. It has become the hot spot of the domestic and overseas research now. It is key to describe boundary contours of the object area in the 3D reconstruction. Based on the Marr operator, a creative algorithm, fetching points by means of raster scan and extracting contours by border tracking, is provided and fulfilled, and lastly the shortest diagonal method is used on contour connection. It has been proved that the new algorithm can remove noises and obtain accurate pixel edge contours in the experiments. The effect of 3D reconstruction is satisfactory and it can help doctors diagnose in the hospital.
