Abstract

In the theory of multiple crystal X-ray diffraction, coplanar arrangement has usually been used. That means incident, as well as all diffracted beams used, and unit vectors of diffracting planes, all lie in the same plane. The aim of this contribution is to discuss conditions for three-dimensional (coplanar and non-coplanar) multiple diffraction. For the sake of illustration of the theory outlined, experimental results on monolithic X-ray magnifier will be given.
