Abstract

AbstractThis paper describes the development of three‐dimensional electric field analysis by using segment method which enables to calculate the electric field with high accuracy and with enhanced efficiency. In the segment method, an electrode configuration of high voltage apparatus is simulated by arrangement of several kinds of small components which are defined as segments. In the calculation, a charge simulation method is used. In this paper, the fundamental construction and arrangement parameter of segments are described. On the basis of the application results, the calculation accuracy is discussed.
