Abstract

Currently, there are limited options to treat deep venous reflux. A first-in-human trial, with 3 years of follow-up, was conducted in Bogota, Colombia, as a nonrandomized, prospective, single-center study to assess the safety and performance of a bioprosthetic monocusp valve (Venovalve) surgically implanted in the femoral vein in C5 to C6 patients. Here we report our 3-year follow-up results.
