Abstract

ABSTRACT The author encourages family members to write about their memories of shared events from the past in an attempt to foster a sense of connection after bereavement. When one impactful shared experience is remembered differently by different family members, the author has to come to terms with a resulting exacerbation of a sense of loss and disconnection.
