Abstract

The article Three songs - three visiting cards of the musical style of the composer Erkegali Rakhmadiyev is focused on three most popular songs by the famous Kazakh composer Yerkegali Rakhmadiyev. These are included into the golden fund of musical culture of the Republic: Tan samaly (Morning freshness), Almaty keshi (Evening Almaty) on the poems by N. Shakenova and Elim Menin (My nation), written on verses of the Kazakhstan President Nursultan Nazarbayev. They are filled with the spirit of patriotism, a great love for the country, its nation. However every vocal miniature is filled with its own individual musical content. Superior quality of Yerkegali Rakhmadiyev’s style is lyrical-epic nature of his work. It includes the organic synthesis of the modern and deeply national. The. composer synthesizes traditional folkloric attributes with elements of modern European musical language. Melodic lyricism, combined with big leaps, simple tune-harmonic base, irregular, variable meter, rhythmic figures of triplets and syncope, intone-chorus form and piano-based instrumental accompaniment significantly distinguish these samples from folk prototypes and emphasize them into the category of urban lyrical songs-romances.
