Three-roller threadrolling machine-automator SKhPRS 20-50 for axial rolling of given length thread

Abstract

Special three-roll automatic thread rolling mill SKhPRS 20-50 for screw thread rolling on sections of given length on smooth and stepped rods is created on the basis of technical solutions protected by patents of the Russian Federation. The new method for length controlling of the rolled thread of the screw, which consists in the use of movable stop, the position of which is controlled by absolute position sensor and controlled by programmable controller, made it possible to expand the technological capabilities and increase the productivity of the equipment due to its rapid changeover for rolling threads of any permissible length. At the end of 2019, the mill is successfully launched at the Joint-stock company "T ranspnevmatika" (Pervomaysk) for rolling of thread 424... 1600 mm length on screws with length of 859... 1600 mm.
