Abstract
The pressure-temperature trace of the three-phase solid-liquid-gas curve starting at the melting point of the heavy solid and terminating at the upper critical end point was determined for CO/sub 2/-octacosane, CO/sub 2/-biphenyl, CO/sub 2/-naphthalene, ethane-octacosane, ethane-biphenyl, ethylene-octacosane, and ethylene-biphenyl. The results of this study are discussed in relation to previous studies of solid solubilities in supercritical fluids.
