Abstract

A three-parameter model for forecasting the Earth pole motion is considered - a model with the minimum possible number of independent parameters and a satisfactory forecasting accuracy. The results of numerical simulation of the Earth pole oscillatory motion are compared with the observational data from the International Earth Rotation and Reference Systems Service. An analysis of the model accuracy is given.
