Abstract

Carapace is oval and strongly arched about the center of the thorax like a helmet. There are three longitudinal rows of several hairs along the median line behind the ocular area. The male's is provided with the scuta on the lateral side as the fig. 2, b, but the female's is not so. It is glossy and yellow in colour with the broad blackish margin, and the scutum of the male is brownish yellow.
