Abstract

ABSTRACT In this paper, three new species of eriophyoid mites from Guangxi, China, are described and illustrated. They are as follows: Paraphytoptus niveae sp. nov. infesting Boehmeria nivea (L.) Gaudich. (Urticaceae), Boczekiana broussonetiae sp. nov. infesting Broussonetia papyrifera (L.) L’Hér. ex Vent. All three new species are vagrants on the lower leaf surface and cause no apparent symptom to their host plants.
