Abstract
Alison C. Essary is director of student affairs in the College of Health Solutions and associate professor in the School for the Science of Health Care Delivery at Arizona State University in Phoenix. She also is chair of the Clinical and Health Affairs Committee (CHAC) of AAPA. Robert J. McNellis is senior advisor for primary care at the federal Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality in Rockville, Maryland. Other members of CHAC who contributed to this article are Gilbert A.
