Abstract

In this paper, the properties of three-level screening designs are studied. A variety of designs are included, such as the definitive screening designs and designs from weighing matrices. These are compared with designs with 13 to 18 runs from Tsai et al., Schoen, Evangelaras et al. and Núñez Ares and Goos. Where possible, new designs were generated with four to six factors by studying and selecting the corresponding projections as needed. Based on the weight given on the model terms, the designs are evaluated, and their performance is presented in tables.
