Abstract

With the research and application of intelligent transportation system (ITS) and the popularization of dual-core computer, there is a higher requirement for solving the optimal path algorithm in large scale transportation networks in real-time by using multi-core technology. In order to improve the efficiency of ITS algorithms and make full use of the multi-processor, OpenMP parallel optimization for the three path algorithms were designed in Xi'an road network with 4525 nodes and 6616 paths, By using multi-threaded programming, both function and performance are improved.
