Abstract

In the current study,three-dimensional porous architectures (CSHPS-G) based on reduced graphene oxide (RGO) and CoS hierarchical sphere (CSHPS) are reported. A facile hydrothermal method is used to synthesize such three-dimensional architecture. When the resulting CSHPS-G is evaluated as counter electrode of dye-sensitized solar cells, it delivers an excellent electrochemical activity toward the reduction of I3−, which is resulted from the synergetic effect between CoS hierarchical architecture and RGO. Consequently, the device based on CSHPS-G electrode showing a better photovoltaic performance than that of the Pt electrode.
