Abstract

3D Ni foam-supported graphene oxide (3D-NiGO) have been fabricated by simply impregnating commercially Ni foam into graphene oxide solution. The resulted 3D-NiGO can be directly used as pseudocapacitor electrode without current collector and binder and also as support for MnO2 nanowires (3D-NiGOM). Both 3D-NiGO and 3D-NiGOM-based binder-free pseudocapacitors show high specific capacitance, good rate capability and excellent cycle stability.
