Abstract

Conventional sparse signal recovery algorithms for three dimensional (3D) ISAR imaging realign the received 3D sparse signals into a long 1D signal to recovery. However, this method needs a large amount of computational load and occupies huge memory. In this paper, a 3D sparse signal recovery algorithm for ISAR imging is presented. Firstly, the 3D ISAR imaging model is analyzed. Then the 3D sparse signal recovery algorithm is proposed to recovery the ISAR image. One negative exponential function sequence is used as the smoothed function to approach the L0 norm. Then, a single loop step is proposed instead of two loop layers in smoothed L0 (SL0) algorithm to solve the sparse signal recovery problem. Finally, the gradient projection is used to project the sparse solution value back into the feasible set. Simulation results are provided to verify the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.
